Our Community

Porterville is in the southeastern San Joaquin Valley nestled among the orange and olive groves. Our climate is called the "Orange Belt." which is a little more moderate than other areas in the valley. Porterville still has the friendly, small town atmosphere.

Our community is actually at the edge of the foothills with the Sierras a few miles away. We are fortunate to have three national parks in our backyard: Sequoia, Kings Canyon and Yosemite.

For those who prefer a church using the Spanish language, the Porterville Hispanic Adventist Church meets at 47 E Walnut Ave, Porterville on Saturday mornings. Check out their Facebook site for more details.
